The DEIB Council will facilitate a general conversation with the entire membership to discuss how we define “gay” in GCA and how we want to define “gay” going forward. We welcome all voices, positions, and perspectives as we prepare a recommendation to the board on the future of OUR organization. One of the core issues in examining how we define the G in the Gay Coaches Alliance, is how to do this while still tending to the sense of safety and belonging of our existing membership. Hearing your fears, hopes, needs, and your voice are vital for this critical discussion in determining the future path of GCA.
