Robert Naylor explores working with clients from backgrounds
Have you ever said “I can’t coach him, he is so different than I am and I struggle to understand his perspectives.”?
Robert offered his thoughts regarding how coaches can explore the personal and professional challenges of working with clients from backgrounds with which they find some difficulty identifying. He also shared some thoughts about whether gay men have an unique perspective to coach across different backgrounds and points of view.
Robert recently returned from a trip to Ethiopia, where he spent two weeks teaching in Addis Ababa. This experience created significant awareness for him especially in the area of around working with clients from different backgrounds and world views.
