I love working with Gay and Queer people, because when we come out and express to the world our true identities, we make a decision. That decision is not how we identify or who we love, but instead to choose to live our lives authentically and without apologies. We take an active step to realize the lives we know in our hearts we need to bring forth – even if this means rejecting what others had previously expected or thought of us.
