Jeff Nally is an executive coach, speaker, and author who helps leaders use neuroscience to be more human at work. Jeff is the president of Nally Group Inc., a practice focused on the science of leadership.
He has 25 years of professional experience in human resources, executive coaching, and leadership development. Jeff created and led the Executive Coaching Practice at Humana, Inc. where he coached senior leaders and established Humana’s Women in Leadership Group Coaching Program for the top 120 women at the health, insurance, and well-being company.
Jeff led two not-for-profit organizations in Kentucky. He was the executive director at Community Health Trust, an HIV/AIDS organization operating two homeless shelters for men with HIV/AIDS in Louisville. He also led The Citizens Committee on Education to increase high school graduation rates and college enrollments in Owensboro. He held leadership positions in manufacturing companies including Commonwealth Aluminum, Commonwealth Industries, and CLARCOR Air Filtration Products.
Jeff is a co-author of Rethinking Human Resources, and Humans @ Work with other HR and coaching thought leaders. He is training to be a certified coach supervisor and will begin supervising coaches in October 2017.
Jeff earned a BA in Psychology from Georgetown College and an MBA from Georgia State University.
He is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation, a Results Professional Certified Coach through The NeuroLeadership Group, and he graduated with distinction with a Certificate in the Foundations of Neuroleadership from The Neuroleadership Institute.
He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources with the Human Resources Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management.
Jeff volunteers to advance the HR and coaching professions. He is a past chair of the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management State Council and a past president of Louisville SHRM.
He is a board member of the Ohio Valley Charter Chapter of the International Coach Federation, and he is chair of Spalding University’s School of Business Advisory Board. He is a member of Metro United Way’s Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and HR Advisory Committee.
Jeff was named one of the top Twenty People to Know in Human Resources by Business First of Louisville.
